SOURCE: menu wont work, continuos channel search
Usually, this means that something has spilled into the front of the set and has contaminated the pushbuttons. If one of the channel pushbuttons has fluid in it, the set will just sit there searching for channels and will not respond to any other commands. The computer thinks you are pushing the channel button and responds accordingly. When you push another button the computer does nothing because it thinks that you are pressing 2 buttons at the same time. The board should be cleaned and any contaminated pushbuttons replaced by a qualified tech.

Same here. I've been working on a way to get around it, but it looks like the only resolve is an RF modulator. ~25 bucks via Radio Shack. Maybe Wal-Mart or a Ma/Pa TV shop in your area has a cheaper one.

Normally if you unplug the tv for 10 min everything resets, if not look behind for a reset button
