(Chamberlain 1/2 hp Whisper Drive garage door opener) the garage mounted opener will open the door, but none of the remotes now work. batteries have been changed already. Is there a way to reprogram the remotes? Bought the house resale so don't have the original manuals.

If the wall button will operate the door up but none of the devices do then look at the wall button. Find the lock button and push it for 2 seconds and then try the remotes again. This is your vacation lock. You can get a manual at chamberlain.com. Now if the door does not open or close with the remotes you can reprogram them. Press the colored learn button on the motor head and then press the button on the remote. Repeat for each remote. If they fail to program you will need a new logic board. Thanks BB

Where is the lock button on the wall button

I am not sure what you are referring to as "where". The "lock" button on the wall mounted remote is actually a very good security feature. Once pressed, no hand held remote will operate the door opener.

How can I disconnect the motion detector on the Chamberlain 3/4 HPS Whisper Drive Plus Belt Drive Garage Door Opener with EverCharge

There is a button on the side of the wall-mounted remote. It has a pic of light bulb next to it. Press it once - the motion sensor is on and the lights will be on once it senses the motion; press it again and the motion sensor will be off.

Hi there. I have a Chamberlain Whisper Drive

I just had that problem this morning and the cause was that the springs that help hold the weight of the garage door were broken. This caused the garage door opener to raise the garage door a fe inches and then drop again. We called in a professional and $200 later we had new springs and everything works fine now.
