Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
Actually the leaking water is from the evaporator coil unit.... Under normal conditions,Self-defrost refrigerators usually dispose the water generated during the defrost cycle through a tube or channel that directs the water a pan (Known as Drip pan), commonly below the refrigerator unit.... The channel or tube is clogged and the water is leaking to the refrigerator unit, so you need to clear that contamination....Once the blockage is removed, the generated water will move through that channel/tube directly to the drip pan and there will no water on the top shelf in the refrigerator compartment. Another cause may be the refrigerator may have doorframe heaters to evaporate any condensation on the cabinet frame. If your refrigerator is equipped with a switch inside that says “energy saver” or something like that, while running in that mode the door heaters are disabled. Turn the switch to the opposite setting and wait 24 hours. If the water disappears the problem is solved.

Best of Luck,

SOURCE: refrigerator leaking water out

being in the uk, i don't know this appliance specifically so take this as guidence. there are two places where water can come from. at the rear of the fridge there should be a gully at the bottom of the evaporator wall - the part that frosts up. in the middle of this gully is a drain and this is likely blocked. push something flexible down it and check blockage is cleared by pouring a small amount of water in the gully and see it flows freely away. good idea to occasionly pour a small amount of dilute bleach down it now and again to keep it sweet. the other place for water to come from is if some of the contents of the fridge are touching the back wall. when it defrosts the water tends to divert onto the shelves

1997 Nissan Sentra when it rains water leaks in on the passenger floor somehow behind the dash Maybe

Don A has an excellent answer, but if you have a sunroof, that is more likely the reason. The pipe runs down between the door pillar and the windshield and there is often a join there which can part. Be careful with compressed air as it can blow joints apart.

My Maytag MZD2766GES is leaking water to the bottom of my freezer, which, when it get alot starts leaking all over the floor. where is this coming from?

Hello,

The water is from the melted frost of the defrost cycle. The drain at the bottom of the back wall of the freezer is blocked so instead of the water draining into the pan where it will evaperate,it's pooling on the freezer floor and freezing, in many case when the floor indent is full the water will leak onto the floor.By pulling the refrigerator out from the wall, there will be a tube behind the service panel on the right side when looking at it from the rear, that tube can be removed and cleared, then clear the nozzle it connects to inside the freezer.

I hope this helps you to stop the leak,
Gene

Water is leaking onto back seat from both sides on a v reg pug 406 , the seals seem fine and i`ve just cleaned them will see what happens but any more info on this problem will be grateful

This could be coming in from a few places. As well as checking seams, i would suggest checking your floor pans... Many times rust will slowly eat thru the floor pans, and allows water to be soaked up... Get the car up in the air ( or climb on under it). Tap on the "floor" from underneath where the rear Foot area would be. If it seems rusty or weak or you can see visable damage. this could be your culprit, even if it isn't rusted through completely. This is a very very common problem with cars in my area , as I live in northern USA. Alot of snow = alot of salt on roads = alot of rusty floor pans :)

This could also be coming from your B - Beams. When your tires displace water. it splashes them against the inside wheel well and tire guard.. Under that guard lies your car body. If this has rust in /on it that has penetrated all the way through, the water is getting thrown "into" the body panels, which is leaking through to your seats. Hope this gave you a little more information on places to look.

2 times in a period of 24 hrs it leaks water out the bottom of refri

Might should check for water leak in the main line that runs at the bottom of the frig behind the grill in front. If not there check all lines in back and the water solenoid sometimes it will have a hairline crack that will cause this. BB

Freezer door leaking alot of water on floor no ice on door

This really sounds like a plugged drain. When the unit goes into defrost the water should run down the drain into the drain pan...when the drain is plugged it will run over and down to the bottom of the freezer thus leaking out the bottom of the door and onto the floor. You will need to take everything out of the freezer and remove the screws that hold the back panel on break out the ice at the bottom and use hot water to pour down the drain to clear it.....also if you have a small hose to shove down the drain that will help out alot.

Leak under car

if it's water, and not gas it's not your fuel pump. if it's water and not a sweet smelling green or red liquid it's not your cooling system. it's probally condensation from your ac, have you been using your ac alot? if so no worries. or a bad window or door seal and it's letting in water onto your floor. and yous aid under the door, so it's on the ground or on the floor of the vechile? if on the ground, more then likely it's just your weep drain from your ac system.
