Hi there, we have downloaded Norton 360 2.0 Upgrade. after the download when the window "extracting files" appeared, we received the error message "the setup file is corrupt, please re-download and try again". But there is no option to re-download anywhere. what do we do? we are using mozilla firefox and have currently norton anitvirus and norton firewall installed which are expired and one about to expire. Thank you for your help!

you have to totally remove it with norton removal tool and then try installation again. Download it and then open the file by clicking on it in the downloaded file list or look for the download folder or right click on file and select open containing folder.

You have download photoshop in .rar or .zip format.

You have to make sure all of these compressed files are at one location inside 1 folder.

Just click on first compressed file and select Extract here

If the issue persists, find the missing compressed file by looking at the name of file,you can identify it by serial no

Re-download the file from source site and put it again in the same folder

There are many reasons for the issue.
Please check if the computer's date and time is running correctly, if not please adjust it and run a live update.

If that does not work, please download Norton intelligent updater from www.norton.com/iu and click on download definitions. Please select the first file if your computer is a 32 bit operating system or select the 4th file. Save it to your desktop. Once the download is complete, double click the downloaded file. It will update your Virus definitions.
If that also doesn't work, you need to reinstall the Norton program on your computer.
To reinstall, follow these steps:
>> download the latest version of the Norton program from the link www.norton.com/nis11
>> save the file to your desktop
>> Once the download is complete, double click the downloaded icon
>> it will remove the existing version while re-installing
>> Once the removal of the older version is complete, you will need to restart the computer
>> after the restart, please click on the downloaded file once more if it does not come up automatically
>> install the Norton program
>> activate the program with the product key
>> your issue will be fixed

1. Go to www.norton.com/n360 and save the file to your desktop
2. If you do not have the product key go to www.findmyorder.com get the product key, after placing the you must have received an email with the order number and product key.
3. Now go to www.norton.com/nrt and run the file. and follow the instruction. it will ask you to reboot the computer. after the reboot please double click on the file which we have saved on the desktop (N36S200.exe)

what is the only thing that you have to do is just go head clear the temporary internet files and temporary files and run the disk cleanup
after that please go ahead and run the liveupdate it will get the patch file from the symantec server
