I've been reformated my notebook and install the win7. My linksys wusb300n worked very well wit the win vista but now it can work wit win7. I need some asistance for that, please!

Have you installed the appropriate drivers? Okay here you go: goto www.linksys.com
search for the drivers and see whether this device is compatible with windows 7. When you find the drivers download and install them.
I hoped that you did not install any drivers for this device previously and if you even did install first uninstall those drivers and then re-install the freshly downloaded drivers.
Hope this works!

I have linksys wusb300n..i want driver is work in xp but is not works in vista

Hi, if you go to http://www.linksysbycisco.com/UK/en/support/WUSB300N/download then in the 'Select your version' dropdown box, choose version 1.0 > you will then be shown the vista driver download.

To install it you have to go to computer manager (right click 'Computer' - choose Manage), then click on Device Manager. Locate the Linksys WUSB300n adapter in Networkadapters, Right Click it and select "Update Driver Software, then choose "Browse my Computer.....", then choose "Let me Pick from a list......" browse to the location of the driver you just downloaded and extracted, it will say its not vista certified, but if u want to try it, you'll have to accept that*......!!

I found it then works best when the wireless access point is on channel 11.

If you still have problems, i have found that using the driver that windows update finds, along with setting my wireless access point to band: 20mhz (instead of auto or 40mhz) allows my WUSB300N to work - albeit at at only upto 150mbps.

*A Final word of warning however, I am running Media Centre on the Vista machine, and i have a LInksys Media Centre Extender, i found when using the Vista Driver from the Linksys website, whenever i connected the Media Centre extender to the Vista PC, it crashed the Vista PC. :-(

How did you fix wmp54g Linksys PCI network adapter driver code 10 problem? I googled on this and got tired. Everyone poses this question, but there was no appropriate solution that works around this...

Try this first:
Shutdown PC. Take adapter out. Boot. Install software. Shutdown PC. Put adapter back in. Boot.
If that doesn't work try this:

Shut down the pc before removing or installing adapter.Uninstall device, uninstall software, remove all oem*.inf and oem*.pnf for Linksys products (searched by keyword "Linksys"). Also one of Microsoft drivers was provided for this so I've decided to change its name. After reboot and normal installation procedure everything works ok.

To delete the necessary files go to www.linksys.com/easy and use Netcheck. Easy because this great tool will automatically set-up and install the device for you.

Linksys WUSB300N, cannot install driver

are you followin THESE instructions?

have you uninstalled the software that came with card?

With the card installed, go to device manager and expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers tree and see if there are any ? or ! devices listed there

Also check under the network adaptors tree for same thing.

If there are any devices with either ! or ? highlight them and in the menu across the top select "action" and uninstall.

Do you hear the "ding" that usually occurs whemn a USB device is plugged in? if not this may indicate a connection issue

Try all USB ports on PC. Perhaps there is either a bad USB port or the connection is not good. Try connecting card via a USB extention cable (male to female) as it is possible that the shape of the card or the PC case means that the USB is not incerting far enough for good connection.

please post back results so I may assist further if required

Linksys WMP300N Endless Bootup Loop

Disable or uninstall the Linksys software that manages and monitors the connection.

Use instead the Microsoft Windows Wireless configuration utility.

That's what I did and didn't get problem after.
