Try leaving the radio turned on for an hour or two.

I have a 2000 saturn ls and my code is 8870. Does anyone know what it is to unlock my radio

Do you want the instructions of how to enter your code?

  1. Turn the ignition ON.
  2. Press the power button on the radio. The display will show "- - - -".
  3. Enter the four digit code by using the and rocker buttons. The numbers will start at 0 0 0 0 and will increase on the display each time the corresponding side of the rocker button is pushed.
    1. Press the down arrow side of rocker button to change left digit.
    2. Press the up arrow side of rocker button to change second to left digit.
    3. Press the down arrow side of rocker button to change third digit.
    4. Press the up arrow side of rocker button to change last digit.
  1. Push the AM/FM button once the four-digit code has been entered correctly.
  2. If the proper code has been entered, the radio will return to the armed mode and normal operation shall return. If the wrong code is entered, the display will momentarily show an error message and then return to display "- - - -" indicating that another try at the correct code can be attempted.

How do I enter the radio code to unlock the radio

I'm assuming that you have the code to enter. The following indicates the procedure. If you don't have the code, leave a comment and I will indicate the process for getting it.
If your car’s battery is disconnected or goes dead, or the radio fuse is removed, the audio system will disable itself. If this happens, you will see ‘‘Code’’ in the frequency display the next time you turn on the system. Use the Preset buttons to enter the five-digit code. If it is entered correctly, the radio will start playing.
If you make a mistake entering the code, do not start over or try to correct your mistake. Complete the five-digit sequence, then enter the correct code. You have ten tries to enter the correct code. If you are unsuccessful in ten attempts, you must then leave the system on for one hour before trying again.
Hope this helps you.

Ive got a factory radio reading of i have code how do i reset to put in code

When you turn on the radio, it will say "codE" on the display. You have the 4-digit code number for your radio, to enter the first digit, press the "1" button on the radio the number of times until the first digit matches. For example, if your code is "2156" then, press radio preset button 1 two 2 times, then press radio preset button 2 one time, then radio preset button 3 five 5 times and finally preset button 4 six times.
THEN if the display is correct (should show 2156 in this example), press TAPE button. You should hear a beep and the radio should be working. If you make a mistake and enter a wrong code, the display will show "Err". You have 3 tries to get this correct or the radio may be toast. These are the steps for the stock radio in my 1995 GSX and they've worked for me each time I've lost battery power. Good luck!

Someone put the wrong security code in the radio. Hold the DNR button down and the code will clear. Be sure you have the correct code to enter after clearing the current one.

Need to input my radio code on 2005 Honda Civic

ok your radio displays ERR , OK 3 options let it sit for an hour turned on , to reture to CODE display , or pull the radio fuse out for a minute and put it back in , returning to the CODE display , or disconnect the battery for a minute , returning to the CODE display . you got the ERR display because the code was wrong or not entered correctly , make your choice of getting the radio back to the CODE display by 1 of those 3 choices , while the radio displays CODE , use the preset buttons , if the first number of your code is 4 , then press the #1 preset button 4 time , when the first number has been input , put the 2nd number in by pressing the #2 prest button , if 2nd number of code is 8 , press the # 2 preset button 8 times till the # 8 is displayed , and so on . you see where this is giong ? when you have entered all the numbers correctly you will have you radio back . when you say you have the radio code , good luck ! were rooting for ya .

Radio code

If you have tried a few times before NOT entering the right code or making error when entering code. This radio will lock you out, here is what you do disconnect battery cable for 60 seconds (positive cable) or disconnect radio fuse. Then re-enter code make sure that you are pressing firmly on number and make sure that you enter correctly.(POWER ON RADIO SHOULD BE IN ON POSITION WHEN DOING THIS) If this doesn't work then you will need to go to HOnda and fora fee they will be able to get code. Good Luck and thanks for using FIX YA.
