Hi..got a problem with the samtron 45bn monitor. Initially, the screen turned yellow, then afterwards the screen went blank ie. black altogether... the monitor switches on alongwith the PC but remains blank..guess its a cable problem..plz help..

Try connecting the monitor to the mains instead of the UPS. If it works OK then the problem maybe the UPS and that it is very close to the max output of the UPS. If not then the monitor is faulty.
It sounds like your video is set to the wrong resolution. Try booting into safe mode by pressing F12 at the start of the boot process. If you get into windows that way, then adjust the display to something you monitor can display like 1024x728@32bits. The monitor can only display a certain amount of pixels and if you set the video card to high you will lose visual. Hope this helps.
Get a long philips screw driver and remove the base and all fixing screws. some are hidden behind blanking plates and the com off with a sharp knife and a getle lifting at the join.
After all screws are removed the lie the screen downwards and start to pull away the backing.
you should get the case apart easily.
You must be aware of the tube holding a full charge at its end. DO NOT touch this at any point. The only thing you should try to inspect is the fuse or adjustment to the focus slant contrast etc. AndystUK

3.Samtron Samsung Models like 45Bn, 55V,56V when u switched on the monitor Power indicator (Led )glow one time First u can check Boosting FET IRF630 bitween (SMPS O/P to LOT supply) and also replace LOT.
4.some Old Gold star anlog and LG monitors If U found 12k Resister near by LOT and also bulched 1Mfd/63V capacitor

sounds like your video card went out simple check of this
if you have another computer that works hook it up to its computer if screen comes on it will be your video card in the comp now if the screen still doesnt work it will be the cable the pins in the end has some how bent or come loose this will require a service tech electrician to repair simple quick job
