My refrigerator was so warm in both side about a month ago, in the first time I could not get any water from the dispenser. Also, so much water was melting from the freezer side as it was so warm. I unplugged the refrigerator and plug it back on the next day, and the problem seemed to be fixed. Last night, I had a similar issue. Both side started getting warm. However, I was able to get water from the dispenser this time. I saw some frost (couple drops of water drops inside the back of the freezer.) So I turned off the refrigerator, and plugged it back in this morning. Finally it started making ice around 4 o'clock again. I read lots of posts and it seemed that there is a defrost problem in my machine. So I would like your expert advice.
Thanks for your help!!
I have had the experience of Moisture in the refrigeration system with some of this brand. If this is your problem it will require a refrigeration tech to recover the charge from the system, change the system drier, evacuate the system to remove air and moisture, then recharge the system with the proper refrigerant.
If your refrigerator is covered by warranty your cost should be minimal. If it is not covered by warranty it can be somewhat expensive. If it is a problem with the defrost system you will see frost build-up on the back freezer wall.
Here is a tip that I wrote about the reasons why the sides and/or seals could be getting hot on your refrigerator.
