Check your cords and jacks first. could be as simple as a loose solder.

Why does my carvin sx-300 amp buzz

Most Amps will buzz or hum when there is a bad ground. It could be because you're plugged into an outlet with some other piece of equipment on it like a motor. if it buzzes on every outlet then there's probably a ground issue in the amp. You can try cleaning your 1/4 jacks with cleaner cause sometimes they'll get cruddy and make for a bad connection. I wouldn't recommend opening the amp and messing around with anything since you could zap yourself. If the amp buzzes withouth even having anything plugged in, then yeah, it's probably the amp with the bad ground. If it buzzes with instrument plugged in, then maybe it's a plug on your instrument since they have to deal with movement and can go faulty after a while. Good luck!

Hi, I Purchased an LG 50PK350 plasma tv and I am experiencing an extremely loud, annoying buzzing sound even with the amp switched off & the sound muted. The buzzing is not constant ... the brighter...

I have this tv aswell, and yes I will confirm that it does buzz quite alot, but all plasma tvs do, it is to do with how it renders images, the buzzing can be made worse by it being close to a wall and it reflecting back. I found that my tv stand some how amplified the buzzing when i got mine. I dont think its something you can escape.

Mine i notice also when scrolling around menus seems to have lines that follow your selection....not to pleased about that

V40 direct injection gdi . rich running & lumpy idle

replace lambda probe expensive but it will run ok after that, i dont know if you know how they work so here's a brief: lambda tells ecu how rich the exhaust gasses are, ecu ajusts fuel input as neccasery eg lambda says not anough fuel ecu puts more in and the other way round.
so if your lambda is covered in **** when you get it out just clean and put it back, if it looks clean enough it needs replacing!! jezza

My infinity reference 7540a amp cuts in and out with heavy bass when the ''loud'' feature is on. I redid my ground, remote wire, shortened my power cable, and double checked all speaker connections. I dont...

sounds like ur gains are set to high and is going into protect mode

also what ive seen happen before is the speakers (if mounted in metal shelf or door and arnt bolted down correctly can flex under bass notes and flex the speaker that much the termanls short onto the metal and amp hits protect mode
(rare but worth a look if you think u have elimanted most other things Had a dude come to me when i was working in sydney with this problem )

also could be things like clipping protection , overheat protection ,amp drawing to much current from the alternator

do your lights dim when you hit the bass notes ?

get back to me and im sure we could solve this problem

If the buzz disappears when you unplug the cable from the amp. check your cable.
If the buzz disappears when you unplug the cable from the instrument, there's something thay may have come loose inside the instrument.
If you unplug the cable from the amp., and the buzz persists, you'll have to have a competent tech. check your amp.
