How do i install opera mini 5.0 to my mobile phone and how will i configure the settings to make it work?

    i already tried opera mini 4.0 and 5.0 to my nokia 3230 mobile phone but still it does not work .. my wap and gprs settings were all configured and i can send pictures and browse the wap sites by using the web default application on my mobile phone .. im asking for the opera mini configuration settings to activate it .. does nokia 3230 supports the opera mini application?

You can download opera mini from opera website. to make it work you should set wap or gprs settings. you can acquire these setting by contacting your network provider and ask them about the internet settings and activation.

You could try the following steps :
  1. Install 'Nokia PC Suite 7' in your PC and configure it for your nokia 2700 classic phone.
  2. Visit the site http://www.opera.com/mobile/download/nokia/2700_classic/
  3. Download and Save the jar and jad files on your desktop.
  4. Connect your phone with your PC by a USB cable.
  5. Open PC suite.
  6. Click on the icon 'install application'.
  7. A window named ' Nokia Appliaction Installer' will be opened.
  8. On the right i.e. My Phone side , select nokia 2700 classic ( C; Phone memory). On the left i.e My computer side , select desktop then select 'opera mini 5.0' and then
  9. Press ?
  10. Save (if required).
  11. Open your phone menu>Apps>Memory Card>opera mini>option>move.
  12. Move to 'Games'.
  13. Now under Games , you will find opera mini , which you can open and use for browsing the internet. The version is 'Opera Mini 5 Beta'.

I am unable to run opera mini browser in my mobile.There shows some error .Although it is installed but it shows problem in setting and alterts me for internet setting by service providers

Have you checked if the browser is compatible to your phone?

3110 phones normally runs opera mini 3.0, 4.1, 4.2, I tried downloading opera mini 5 with that type of phone but it does not work. I suggest you to go to official opera mini site and download application that is applicable to your phone.

For internet connection, please contact your service provider for the exact settings of your phone and be sure to have enough balance.

You do not need extra settings to use opera mini. Just install wap settings in your phone from your mobile operator. Download opera mini from mini.opera.com and get start faster web browsing in your mobile phone.
