As far as 020 error is concerned it is the TNY on the controller board. If you take the controller board out (it's the board that the usb/network cable plugs into). You find 2 banks. Ones for memory, the other bank is your prom board they refer to as a TNY.

Oki C5450 error message

The figure after the K drum Life tells you how much life there is left on the BLACK (K) drum. C indicates Cyan, M indicates Magenta and Y indicates Yellow.

Go to the USAGE MENU and look at the K DRUM LIFE setting. This will be a 2 digit percentage value. As you have just seen the message appear this will mean that the drum life remaining is ....whatever the 2 digit value displays.

The life expectancy of a drum is approximately 15,000 pages.

Error 172 - Upper Heater Temp State: High
Heat Roller Thermistor indicates high temp

Solution:
Turn off printer, let cool down.

Error 020 is a ROM dimm error, could be as simple as reseating/replacing Rom Dimm or a expensive main PCB, you need to get hold of a oki dealer, contact oki to find closest OKI repair agent.

Error 020
When an error has occurred in the controller board (CU) or the program Rom.




Resolution:
Replace the Rom Dimm, see chart below for the correct part number. If the Rom Dimm does not correct the issue, then replace the (CU) controller board. Please refer to the service manual for (CU) part number depending on the printer revision

Fatal error


That is a control board error.
i dont think that it would be hard to change out.
but the board price may deter you from fixing it. Considering it about 5 or 6 years old.
here is a list of parts for your printer. I cant find prices for it . you can call Okidata for it.
