I need a diagram showing the route for the cables for a Weider 9940 home gym. Can you help me. Thank you.

FitnessRepairParts.com has diagrams that may be helpful. For example here is the diagram for the WEBE35560. If you cannot determine where things go from the diagrams you may be able to find a manual.

Go to iconservice .com click on manual input Wieder for manufacturer then in model name input pro power stack you will find the manual in PDF format you can in large the page needed to accomplish the cabling.

Select Manufacturer as Weider.
Model Number - 9940

Then, Click Search. You would get 3 Options. You could Select Canadian English which would be the second Option and Save it on the Desktop.

With weider pulleys you will find that either the little retainer L shaped piece has moved on one or more of the pulleys or the pulleys are scraping against each other.<br />The plastic coating on the cables will start to show wear or you will be able to feel it in a while.<br />Also check to make sure the cables are around all the pulleys, and have not shifted to the shafts.<br />

Hi there, Well first thing you need to do is get a manual. Weider manuals are available on iconservice.com. To obtain the manual you will need the model number. This should be located under one of the seats. (usually the bench press seat) once you find the model number go to the web site listed above and go to the manuals section and input the model number. The manual is a free downlable and printable pdf file.
The manual will contain the cable routing info.

Hello there. If you go to iconservice.com and then go to the manuals section. There you can input your model number wesy8510 then choose the version of manual you need. You should have a model number plate on the bottom of the seat assembly which will have the actual full model number. click on the particular model number on the manuals section and download the pdf for free.
The cable diagram is located in the rear of the manual.
