Bought a new Samsung RSH1DLMR side by side fridge and turned it on after it was delivered yday, but still not cooling at all, can anyone help bcos i am planning to ring the retailer up tomorrow, but wondering if i have missed something and don't want to look stupid if its very obvious

we are not samsung, only they are samsung.
why not ask your local seller for help first.

Did u follow the unpacking and installation instructions??
Are the sides,bottom,and back of refrigerator clear of all obsticals?
Did u remove the plastic from the ac cord prongs?

If it has fan to deliver cold air, and it is not working, cold air is stuck on the begining. So your fan could be dead. And I suppose, that compressor is running all the time. Even compressor could stert freezing if fan does not deliver cold air in fridge. The other option is, that there is not enough gas in the compressor. In this case compressor vould not be freezing, but line, going out of compressor has to be hot, if it is not, there is no gas.

It takes approx. 24 hours for a freezer to reach optimal temperature and to stabilize, only because in a 24 hour period the machine will shut off about three times for it's defrost cycle, but like you listed, freezing temperature will be reached in about 6 hours.

I sell many replacement Main PCB controls for these units, Defienetly sounds like your problem. Ecspically if the freezer is still cooling. So that rules out your compressor.

ambient temp 10/35 degrees C.not in direct sunlight,
did you use a level to make sure that it is level in all planes,just to make sure all the door seals are tight,
(look along the seals to make sure)the unit should be left on for at least 24 hours in its chosen position with the doors shut,then check temp,it could take another 12 hours to settle down once loaded.Also make sure that its not touching the wall cuts down on vibration.
once checked,if still not right call samsung..they are good.

I have the same problem....anyone have a fix

Thanks so much for the advice. I just gently pried the door sensor switch on my Samsung RB1855SL out with a butter knife and then pulled out the electrical connection and it fired up right away. It looks like some orange juice seeped in and corroded it. What a relief to have the fridge working again, not to mention to not have to listen to the beeping.
