SOURCE: Need to Re-Assemble my Graco Snug Ride Car Seat
Hi jessibee
I found the site that you need to get an instruction manual for the seat. You will need to find the exact model of the SnugSeat that you have, because there are quite a few to choose from.
to find the model/serial number...
Car Seat
Toddler or Booster - On the back of the car seat OR on the bottom of the seat
Infant - On the back of carrier OR on the bottom of carrier OR on the stay-in-car base
Thanks for using FixYa, a Fixya rating would be great for this advice.
Good luck.

HI! I've had 3 babies and alwyas use the Sungride! My presonal trick......First, be sure to roll up a towel (try different sizes for the perfect fit) and push it under by the seat crease (where the back cushion and seat cushion meet). Then, when you are pulling the belt to make it tighter, put your knee in it to add some weight and really get it tightened! I'm sure you'll notice a world of difference! :)

Slide the fabric all the way to one side to expose the center clasp (hook). Then using both hands grasp the clasp like you were putting you hands on handelbar (placing your thumbs under the bottom of the clasp about 1 inch apart). Then push up with your thumbs while pulling down with your fingers (which should be wraped around the outside of the clasp). You will need to push with your thumbs all the way up in order to separate the two pieces (note - it feels like you are going to break it but you wont).
Putting them back to gether is just a matter of aligning the tabs in the slots and pressing the two parts together.
