I can't seem to get any songs to down load into my Sansa e200R. It is pretty new have used it a hand ful of times...need help trying to locate why the thing wont down load my songs into it! Thanks [email protected]

Try the following method to see what is on your Sansa e260
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
If you want to delete some or all of the files do the following:
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. Good Luck, I hope this helps
Several things. 1. To correctly reset it, flip the lock button, then hold down the power button. 2. Format your sansa. Make sure you have all your stuff off. Then, format it. If you don't know how, e-mail me here : [email protected] Then sync it back on!
Use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs downloaded from Limewire to your Sansa. The first time you open Windows Media Player, it will search the "My Music" folder for songs - this may take a few minutes. Mkae sure you have Windows Media Player 10 or 11. You can either move or copy the Limewire songs to the folder called "My Music," or go into Windows Media Player and change Windows Media Player's configuration so that it can read the Limewire downloads folder.
You have to synchronize your Sansa to a computer that has a current subscription to Rhapsody, and you have to sync the Sansa to that same computer at least once every 30 days, or the Rhapsody songs will stop working. Use a different music service that is free, or convert all of the songs to Mp3 format to get around the problem. If you get a subscription to another music svc, then you must maintain a current subscription with whatever new svc you choose as well.
The songs need to be formatted for a sansa. Use Windows Media Player 11. Don't use Rhapsody, too many problems.
Load a CD into your computer, on the Toolbar of WMP11 click rip, After all songs are ripped, hook up your Sansa to the computer via USB cable, Click Sync. WMP11 will not only sync the sansa it will sync the micro card also. You have your choice where you want to put the music. Drag and drop the music in the box to the left where you synced your sansa and at the bottom of the box click Sync. All music will be synced to your sansa or card which ever one you chose. Understand, when the sansa starts up, the card syncs with the sansa, you don't have to do anything. Try this and let me know how it works.

its pretty much the same thing, just without rhapsody, thats how me and my friends are, i bought the one with rhapsody features(Sansa e250R) so i can play the songs that i bought and get free music channels for it, where my friend on the other hand has the Sansa e250v2 without rhapsody, u can still use rhapsody but u cant get free music channels for it, or u could also download best buy music manager or rhapsody and set up a free 31-day account for it to stop saying that for a while, plus if u got ur Sansa e250R from Best Buy, they can replace it, or trade u the sansa that u have with the rhapsody-free one(without rhapsody)
Okay, here's what i've encountered: songs that I downloaded on rhapsody, without purchasing, only lasted about 7-10 days unless i reconnected. once my trial period ended, i lost all the songs. songs that i've purchased i've had no trouble (although if you load them to the sansa immediately after download, you may get the same message. its best to wait at least 24 hours). good luck
