Hello jessieg,
Press the additional functions button located between the diplay and the nine key pad (nine key is used to enter numeric values such as number of copies requested....etc...) Once you have pressed additional functions a new menu will be displayed. The last item on the right is "address book settings". Press it. Now I am going by memory, which is scary. you should have a field that says register new address. This is also the area that provides you with the ability to add a new address, edit an existing address, or delete/erase an existing address. You should see a list of all addresses. Touch the one you want to delete. Once you have selected one the "erase " button should become active. Press erase. I cant remember all the stuff since I am not in front of one but I bet you have it from here. that is unless they have password protected the address. If that is the case then you will need to go to Canon's website and download the reference manuals for your device,I believe the facsimile guide would be the most helpful, since password protecected aspects of the device require more space and time than "FIXYA" is practical for. But I bet you have a firm handle on the situation by now because I have faith in ya!. I hope I have helped you, truly. If I have, please feel free to let the folks at "FIXYA" know I did help you. I work on these *^$*(())_&$$ ole copiers all day long, but I enjoy truly helping folks after hours. Although I am not on the clock, I like the pat on the head and the good feeling I gat when i help people because I want to and not because I have to ! :-} I hope you have a great day. .................SPINAL..........
