The left red light button is on constantly and is using up the battery ever few days. Manual says to change blades which I did. How do I turn off light? I submitted this request some2 weeks ago and have no reply

  • ellisinc May 06, 2008

The shaver is about 15 months old. Does battery need to be replaced? Usage is about 320 times a year and blades are washed under hot water after every use.

Hi,
Theres A cleaning indicator. And A Low Battery Indicator on this Model.
Make sure you have no hairs inside the shaver unit, or lodged between the blades. This will cause the cleaning indicator to light up.
Secondly, depending on the age of the Battery and shaver.
You may need to replace the rechargable Battery Unit. With A New One.
Hope this helps solve your Problem.

Mike.

    Hi,

I would definately suggest A new replacement rechargable Battery.

if it,s 15 months old. It will have been charged/Discharged hundreds of times. A replacement Battery should cure your light Problem On The Shaver. If it,s not blocked hairs triggering the light. it,ll be the battery not receiving a full charge.

Please don,t forget to Rate the Solution, once you,ve resolved The problem.

    many thanks mike.

I would try removing the battery. or leaving it on to discharge and see if that works. The battery may need to be cut out and resoldered back in.

Let me know if this doesn't work and we can explore further options

thanks

Make sure that blades are installed correctly, take it out and reinstall it. remove battery while installing and try charging it again, if issue persist chances are you need to have it service, if within warranty contact manufacturer.

Best i got..

The 'top' button that turns the light on.

You must press and hold the bottom button to release the light/battery container. It is still very difficult to force out of the casing. I used a screw drive (flat blade) to force the little tabs on the outside of the LIGHT edges to separate the two.

Parking lights will flash when the vehicle's battery is disconnected and reconnected.
To stop lights from flashing, either:
Press remote transmitter "UNLOCK" button once OR turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position and press programming button for one second (see below).
The vehicle interior (courtesy) light and door open warning light (DOOR AJAR indicator) will then illuminate for 60 seconds when the ignition is turned off, or until the doors are locked with the remote transmitter. Yes, the dashboard instrument panel lights will flash when the parking lights flash.

Programming or Overriding the Alarm when you have lost the remote
Open driver's door.
Turn ignition key to 'On'
Press and *hold programming button* in (see diagram, button under dashboard)
After 15 seconds the the door locks will cycle 3 times. Do not release Programming button.
Press lock (left) button the remotes to be programmed. The door locks will cycle one time. Exit programming mode by releasing Programming button under dashboard and turning key to off.

If you can't find it, it might still be tucked up in the wiring harness higher up in that same general area. The botton is recessed in a plastic ring (see diagram).
This button must be pressed while programming remotes or if the battery was disconnected and the lights are flashing.

Hi, We have a 42" hslc10668phz

generally when you get a constant green light all is ok. these different lights indicate different problems within the tv. so the pattern of lights you mention suggests there is a fault of some kind (is there a troubleshooting section in your manual)? either way it needs to be looked at.

The red light stays on permanetly despite changing batteries on t.v remote control

I had this same problem as well. It was after I upgraded the OS I had the issue with my LED red light on constantly. I figured out it was the colorpearl application because it is not compatible with the new 4.5 OS.

Red Light!

Hi xx

It sure does sound like a battery. If it is more than 12 months old, and regularly charged(daily) , then it will need replacement.

New battery will not recharge

Don't turn it off, the battery needs to be constantly charged or refreshed. They will go bad just sitting around with no voltage applied. The UPS draws very little power and has surge protection so there is very little to worry about.
