Webcam help i am trying to establish the connection of my webcam w/ msngr. i installed the webcam, but do not know where to go to connect the webcam to msngr or yahoo.

i went 2 camera settings & is says: you cannotchange your camera settings bc either your camera's not plugged in to your computer or you are using it in a video call or with another program. Then i looked 2 find the webcam icon at the bottom rt of my screen & it wasn't there! how do i bring it back, & is this why i can't choose webcamera settings?

Open your messenger, sign in, and in the contacts window. press the ALT button

then you can see the toolbars on top of the window
click tools
then webcamera settings

there you go.

Id recommend you try to reinstall the webcamera software.

Uninstall it first from the controlpanel -> add or remove programs

then you can get the new software from here

For yahoo msngr 10, sign in to ur account, open the person's conversation u want to im.on the top left side u can see voice call. click it and ur if the other person acceptts ur call, then ur call will b connected and u will b able to talk like on telephone.same is the procedure for msn msngr,Hope this helped u.If yes, kindly rate me with a thumbs-up below.

I recieve audio and my program tells me my mike is working but the person on the other end cannot hear my conversation

sounds like a setting in the program/instant msngr you are using.. Try looking under options-audio options.. I know on many different programs you can just turn the mic off without the sound off all together.

When i invite my friend to a video chat, it establishes connection but in the chat i cant see him i can only see my self.

connect the webcam or else ask them to conncet the webcam properly or else u have to reinstall the webcam because i too have the same proplem
