your main circuit board is also your speed control the motor should not have a circuit board i don't believe. open your machine up all the way to the motor and cord reel. check voltage at cord reel should be 120 +/- 10. if voltage is correct then replace speed control board.
Just a suggestion, but you could try to re-solder the connection on the board. some of the circuit boards did not have enough solder on the board coming from the factory.
That being said, if the component is damaged due to the burning, I suggest you contact your local Miele dealer and have them order you a circuit board for the unit.
IF the unit is less than 5 years old as well, that part should be covered under warranty. Do NOT solder it, just have them replace the part.
You have two circuit boards in th Renny, one is in the handle of the hose and the other is called a triac located next to the motor in the canister. There is a long and drawn out procedure in trouble shooting the problems with the Renny and if you don't know what to do, you will be in more trouble than you are now.
The best thing is to find a reputable Aerus/Electrolux dealer/shop and have them to find what the problems are.

I had the same problem. Ordered a PCB from Bissel it took 2 weeks to arive. I fitted it, then it blew again, turned out the brush motor was short circuiting. Ordered a new motor it took 10 weeks. I have now had to order the second circuit board.
Over 3 months to get this vac fixed - my advice is - don't buy Bissels!
