It is prepaid tracfone and some how i disabled the prepaid service on it and i cant unlock the phone or sims card either one

As long as the fone u want to use is network unlocked then u can use the (Obama fone , free government fone)Sim card in any fone. Samsung, LG, iPhone etc.... all will work as long as they are network unlocked. Good luck

  When you unsuccessfully attempt to enter the same code more than 3 times, your phone will lock and disable the Prepaid funtion. Please go to "Service and Support" and select the technical support on our website and follow the instructions provided.
  

The service provider does have access to the unlock codes for the phones. There are companies and programs that you can get that will give you the code, but these charge a fee usually. Try this, tell them you are traveling to another country and want to use a local sim card. Since this is a prepaid phone they should give you the unlock code anyway, you paid full price for the phone and they are legally obligated to provide you with it in most cases.

i had the same problem i was pissed but heres the solution that helped me.

1. go to www.tracfone.com
2.then go to service & support and click on technical support
3.then enter your phones serial number in the "Report Technical Difficulties" box.(to get your serial number go on your phone hit menu,then hit prepaid,then hit serial number.)then hit submit.
4.then once you hit submit scroll all the way down to "prepaid disabled unit disabled".
5.then click contiue once you get there then just follow the steps along the way.

You will need to obtain this from TracPhone customer service.  If they will give it to you, then your phone will be unlocked.
