Putting the Plantronics Voyager 510 into pairing mode:
With headset on, press and hold the call button and the volume up simultaneously until the headset begins to flash red and blue.

Make sure that your Blackberry's headset mode is activated. If the
headset mode is turned on in the Blackberry menu and settings, you may
also need to re-pair the headset to your phone to make sure that it has a
connection. Before running through the pairing process, be sure to
totally delete the headset from the Blackberry's menu. You may want the
headset turned off for this process.

The Voyager 510 headset that's used with the 500a is compatible with
most mobile phones. The link below has information that can be of benefit to

The Plantronics 500A base should be plugged into the handset receiver
jack on the phone, not the headset jack. It could be that the
headset needs to be re-paired to the base unit, or the lifter is worn
out (if using one). If you manually remove the handset receiver from
the phone, and
you power on and activate the headset, does sound come through ? If so,
it may be the lifter. Here is a link for the 510S / 500A user guide to
troubleshoot, and also a link for the pairing instructions.
It might already have been figured out but if you hold the answer button on the headset down until the light stays on steady, it is in pairing mode. You can then go to bluetooth setup on the Curve and it will find the headset.
