if yes follow these steps:
this is how to put picture on a psp with windows xp or vistamy psp wont get pictures - mag-glass_10x10.gif:

1) you connect the psp to your pc with a usb wire
2) on the psp menu go all the way left and at the top you will see usb connection, click on that.
3)you should see a new drive bow pop up at the bottum right of the screen, only if this is your frist time putting it in the computer.
4) go to my computer
5)you will see a removable drive. if not please tell me.
6) open the removable drive, then you will see a folder called "PSP" open it.
7)now you will see a folder called "PICTURE" put your images in there. if you do not see a folder make one. but make sure it is caped.

if you still can't do it. tell me what type of image it is. (.jpg. gif etc. . .)

Have version 6.35 on memory stick via network update but it wont seem to work when i go to install it it goes to a screen showing psp and wont go any further please help

Okay I'm not exactly sure how your screen looks but it might be the following:
1. Your computer/PSP didn't download the update correctly.
2. Your memory stick might be malfunctioning.

If its (1) then try:
- re-downloading it through the PSP
- re-downloading it on your computer and then putting on the memory stick again.

If it might be (2) then try:
- Another memory card and the above

HINTS:
- Follow this website http://us.playstation.com/support/systemupdates/psp/pc/index.htm
- Turn of the PSP completely before trying.
- Have the PSP charging at the time of update.

Cheers :)

P.S:
If that doesn't work can you somehow upload/take a picture of the screen it shows?

connect your psp to your pc with your usb cable then in the options of your psp connectby pressing usb. then in my computer on your pc there should be a new drive. in that drive there is a folder for pictures. just put them in there. If its not the transfer thats the problem and its just certain pictures it might be the format i think psp supports .jpeg, .jpg, .jfif, .jpe, .png, .gif, .tiff, .tif, .bmp, and .dib pictures
