Anyone know why my ipod 30g video wont work with my pioneer avic d3? When i plug it in i recieve a "ready" sign for the first thirty seconds or so, and the it says, "Error 11". If I select the video button it will play the songs over the speakers but I still have to control everything from the ipod? I want to be able to use the touch screen, Any ideas?
Do you have an ipod module or are you using ibus-to-rca cable to connect your ipod to the D3? In order to control full ipod functions by touch screen you need the ipod module, hence the D3 says ipod control ready not ipod control built in. Let me know so I can pin point the problem.

ok sounds good bu mine has been working that way with just the cable and i just got the error 11 code and my ipod is frozen
i get the same problem on mine. But the difference is that it has worked just fine for about 4 months without any problems. then last week it just wont work. I have to play music through the video selection on the avic and manually switch songs. Ive tried reseting the avic and the ipod and neither has worked. But when i plug in my iphone it works just fine so im wondering if its the ipod thats tripping out. My ipod is a video classic
