Remove the front panel. Look for the "L" shaped rubber hose near the bottom that goes to the metal blower box. Remove the end of the hose at the blower box. Inside the opening you can see the blower fan blades. Using a pencil or other slim object, gently rotate the fan while the power is on. The blower should start on its own after you get it going. Let the blower run a few minutes to loosen itself up. Replace the hose and front panel. The blower fan tends to stick if the unit is turned off for long periods of time, such as from Spring until Fall. My Laser 73 blower sticks almost every year and I cure the problem doing the above procedure. HTH

After my stove runs about two cycles, it shows E E 2. we relight and it ignites and then shuts back down with the error message. The tank is full, no air in the fuel line or filter. suggesations?

Has this unit been serviced. Sounds like the Flame Sensor is dirty and not sensing flame OR this actually isn't any flame due to an ignitor or fuel issue. Here is a complete explanation and diagnosis of the EE2 problem: Toyostove Error Code EE2

Showing ee 8 wont start

Remove the front cover. Remove the 1 1/2 inch black hose that has a 90 degree bend into the silver box. With the stove OFF stick your finger in the hole and try to spin the fan. It may take a few times but keep trying it should break free. Once free the stove will work. If it spins freely and still gives the EE8 you wll need a new motor.

There is a rubber hose from blower case to the base of the unit

EE 8 code on TR-73 toyostove!

If you can't get rid of the EE8 message and you think the motor is really turning it may be turning too slow. This will be caused by corrosion that has dripped down into the blower and gotten on the Rev sensor. The solution is to change the motor. If you are not handy with tools you may have to just change the whole blower. The motor is around $150, the whole blower is $350. The corrosion may have happened over the summer and fall.Heating and cooling causes condensation and the water drips down into the blower.

We just got oil after not using our toyo stove since last Summer. when I turned it on and push the on button it flashes 12:00 then a second push of on button briefly shows temp then goes to EE8, I can't...

Ok so I bought a L 73 model two years ago and today I had fuel delivered in prep for the winter. When I turned the Toyo on it waited about 5 minutes before giving me an EE 08 error message. The manual showed blower motor trouble and I was bummed so I called a friend. He gave me the following information he learned from a Toyo dealer as a "temp" fix until a more thorough cleaning can take place. Apparently stuff (crusties, ash and burnt debris) have a tendency to build up around the blower motor fan which causes it to get stuck. This is not the large visible fan on the back, but the smaller internal one. There is a rubberized hose leading to the larger fan and a smaller flexible stainless exhaust next to it, which is the one I was told to remove. Once you remove the flexible exhaust get a flashlight and look into the back and you'll see the fan (or only about the 1/3 of it which is visible). Take a pencil eraser and gently remove the build up between the exhaust slats. I also used my craftsman shop vac which fit nicely right over the hole to remove the debris. Once you have all the soot, crusties and stuff removed the fan should be spinning at warp speed when you remove the shop vac. This took my literally about 10 minutes to disconnect, clean and reconnect. About 8-10 minutes later the unit was working great! Hope this helps anyone having similar problems.

Need a service manual for laser 30 toyo stove

Remove the flex hose from the back of the stove. If there is a small hole in the back of the stove, stick a pencil in there and spin the motor. Try to start the stove. If the motor won't spin at all or if it spins freely and the stove still shows an EE8 you need a new motor.

You or your local dealer can change the motor in 30 minutes.

Toyostove l73

Try cleaning the fan blades, etc. Does the blower stop after a while and not start again? If there is no ignite at all, could you need to clean your stove. Especially the heat pot?
