Hello my name is Heath it will be my pleasure to assist you. The first thing to check is make sure the thermostat fan switch is set to auto instead of on. The next thing would be the High limit in the furnace or the rollout. If there is a sight glass on the bottom door of the furnace check to see if there is a flash code in the furnace then check it to the plate inside that has the flash code diagnosis chart.

Running cooler than normal (indicated by temp gauge), hot air not hot, thermostat not the problem (recently replaced), check engine light NOT on.

as far as the temp of the air blowing...it in direct proportion to engine coolant temp...try a hotter thermostat....as for the faan running continuously that is a seperate problem and sounds like a faulty rheostat or fan switch...rheostat is elect, switch on the fan motor that enables different speeds and may beinternal on your truck. only parts store will know . if it is replace fan motor. if not , test switch and then test rheostat

Thermalfuse in whirlpool duet electric dryer blows every few months - what is causing this? Had servive 4 times inlast 10 months - keep replacing the thermalfuse and also shortened the vent hose for better...

Hi miralou

Check for lint buildup and clean if necessary your vent hose.
If you vent hose "seems" to be clean then, try running the dryer with the vent hose off and see if the dryer is blowing out a good stream of air.
If you are running too hot you are not moving enough air thru the system and it will normally blow the thermostat/thermistor.
Check to see:
It could be that the fan blade is plugged up.
The problem could be a large lint ball build up in the center of the fan or a sock, thin pants,a pen, etc. that has gotten into the fan by falling down the hole where the lint screen is normally inserted impeading the air flow.
You have to find the air restriction to solve the problem.
It also can be a loose or worn out blower wheel/fan.

Hi newish oven, seems when all the ovens are off the fan is blowing cold air, any ideas?

cold air from the fan forced element area in the oven? or from the air vent just above the door? if its from the air vent then this is normal if your oven senses the outside cabinet is getting to hot it will bring on the fan and if its still to hot after u turn it off the fan will continue as its circuit doesnt run through the control knobbs meaning it wont turn off with the oven its controlled via a overload thermostat so the fan will remain on til it gets within its acceptable temp range and the thermostat will cut power to the fan, if it remains on for hours and hours or even days you will be looking at a new thermostat (cheap as dirt like only a few bucks) or worst case a controller

My Sony Vaio VGN-CR320E turns itself off all the time. I have already formatted it, but the problem continues... What can I do?

IS it getting hot. Check the fans. It'll shut down if the fans aren't running and everything gets to hot. You might be able to use compressed air and blow out your vents and fan blades. Dust builds up and limits air flow causing extra heat, and then shut down. IF your running your laptop on your lap, make sure your not covering any vents or air flow. Its easy to do and not realize it.

My ford excusion vent fan is running even when engine is off. No key in car and I can turn my vents all the way up and it will blow tons of air into car?? Ran battery out overnight.

If this has EATC automatic temp control. You will probably need a blower speed control module. This controls fan speed in all ranges and sounds like it has internally shorted causing this concern.

Have your thermostat in your heater core checked sounds like it is stuck, your next clue will be very wet carpeting that smells like coolant.

My ducted heating continually blows cold air thru

Well, if need be, turn the breaker off. Turn it on when you need heat. Sounds like the fan relay is sticking or something if that sort. Is the tstat fan selector on auto?

Continuous heat coming from vents

You need to have the temperature valve actuator replaced. It's a dealer only part on top of a huge labor fee (about 600). I've been just opening my windows in the winter when it gets too hot... but with spring/summer coming I will have to have it rigged to constantly blowing cool air (and bring a sweater!). Good luck.
