Epson Stylus CX6600 paper feed problem

I was printing some 4 X ^ glossy pics last night adn tehn when finsihed and reset paper setting my printer will not recognize normal LTR size paper, or anyhtign but 4 X 6 now?! IT keeps trying only to feed 4 X 6. I tried resetting turning on and off, rebooting PC, but it won't even copy a page it keeps trying just to pull down the lower corner and will only work if I feed in 4 X 6. Any ideas, hate toscrap it jsut for this.. I did confirm the settings are no longer on 4 X 6... very frustrating!

Thanks

Jim

When printing photos on glossy Kodak paper the error message " paper jam reload" appears.

Some printers are not able to or having difficulty feeding glossy photo papers at 230 gsm and above, try using photo papers below 230 gsm.

Glossy A4 paper will not feed. Is it too heavy?

Actually, if printer is new, printer can feed up to 350 grm. But if pick up rubber at paper feeder mechanics had distort/loose thickness, it can't. Try to use 210 gsm glossy paper. Or, if you wish to use 280 gsm, pull down paper while printer grab paper.

EPSON 1280 SILVER INK JET PRINTER, Stopped printing on glossy

Problem with paper feeder. Replace paper feeder or replace just pick up rubber at paper feeder mechanics. You can add thickness of rubber by adding black double tape (flexible) (about 1mm).

I press print. It acts all busy and loud. Prints NOTHING

If paper is feeding through and you don't get any errors try this: Try doing 4 to 5 head cleans, wait about 10 hours for the ink to soften and do another 3 or 4 cleans with a nozzle check after each. You should see a gradual improvement in the nozzle checks. If there is no improvement then you need a head cleaning solution such as this one:

Others are available just try googling "inkjet head cleaning".
Hope this helps.
Please take a moment to rate this solution, thanks.

My printer no longer feeds in Epson Premium Glossy paper S041624

Hi,

Try to clean the paper pick rollers with a cloth, dam it with little water and try to hange the paper settings by going into printer preferances.

Epson stylus pohoto 830u paper feed

I'm afraid this series of printer (810 -830) doesn't handle heavy photo paper well - which is a bit strange for a so-called photo printer. If you hold each sheet and help it to feed it will work. But ...... for goodness sake. Your best bet is to sell it on e-bay and buy something that will handle heavy paper.

Black and yellow ink not printing

This is what worked (so far) with my Dell1.gif AIO A940 printer1.gif that wouldn't print black ink.

It worked for awhile when I chose photo/glossy paper, but then it quit printing again (see below).

PRINT, PROPERTIES, PAPER SETUP, SPECIALTY PAPER, PHOTO/GLOSSY

I got it to print, again, by putting SEVERAL papers in the feeder (instead of just 1) - there is a sensor that is supposed to automatically detect paper type, and it might not be working right, especially with one or only a couple of sheets.
