I have a two ink cartridges (one black & one color). I just purchased a used HPpsc2110 and I do not know how to install the cartridges (i.e. where and how do they go in)

I lost my Epson CX8400 manual and have never replaced the black ink cartridge.

Opened the top lid, but the cartridge does not move to the center automatically.

Clicked on the menu button, hoping it would list something about replacing the ink cartridge, but no-go.

Help. Am having to print regular copies by using the colors, cause the black is low.

This works for a HP Deskjet F380 All-in-One. I don't know if the first step is necessary, but do it anyway.
o Unplug your printer.
o Remove paper from the paper tray and leave it opened.
o Pull down the white door above the tray to open it. The inside of this door has instructions for replacing the cartridges. My problem was to find the spent cartridges.
o The cartridges are inside the space opened up by the last two steps. Put your hand in until you touch the horizontal rod that transverses this space. Feel to the left and slightly down until you find them, then slide them along the rod until you can get at them.
o To remove one, clasp it with your thumb on top and your bent index finger beneath. Pull back and down, bearing down with your thumb and using your finger as an axis, and it should pop right out.
o Take the tape off the replacement cartridge. Don't touch the coppery area under the tape! Roll the new cartridge in with a motion opposite from the one you used to remove the old one.

Good luck. images are so much better than words for this kind of thing. --Akren
