Sony ericsson w550i walkman

Some time Sony Ericsson Software update Service will solve such problem.
I had almost same problem with Sony Ericsson W550i and SETool fail to repair it.
Then i used Repair option on Sony Ericsson PC Suite 6.001 and problem was solved.

Try taking out the battery and leaving it out overnight then put back in and try to turn on again. If this doesn't help, then your phone's software needs to be flashed.

whenever i try to lock my phone it ask for code
i don't know wt is phone code becoz it is not available in user manuual

The above problem is only a switching problem.

If the power on/off switch shorts then only this type of problem happens in w550i.

If u can service the switches with tweezer or thiner u may get rid of it. (i.e. Open the cellphone and clean the on/off switch & keypads.)
