My SDmamory card is locked its asking a password now....but i didnt put any password .how can i unlock my mamory card ?

try using the password, password or 9999. That's a default thing from the manufacturers but it could have gotten some kind of virus--I had one do that and it won't allow me to delete or add anything else to it.

My sandisk 1 gb microsd is locked somehow and i have forgotten the password.i want to unlock it.there is some important data in it............please help

Hey bro, im sorry to inform you that there is no way to recover your memory card without losing your data. But if you are fine with losing your data, then try this out.
Put your microSD in a nokia E-Series phone. I'll suggest the E-65. Now, go to the memory card in the TOOLS folder and select options, and choose FORMAT MEMORY CARD. It will ask you for your confirmation, press yes if you want to, and it will format your card and remove the password. I hope this works for you. Cheers ! I've tried it out. It does not ask you to put in the old password before formatting. It worked for me !

Try doing a complete formatting again.

If that does not work, delete partition and try doing formatting with a tool like the one below.
If the software below does not fix the problem, then replace the card.

Sandisk 1gb microsd problems

The music might not be in the correct format. Does your phone play MP3s? Another thing might be the DRM problem with the MP3s. I had this problem once and had to strip the DRM stuff out of the MP3 before my phone would recognize it.
