Hello. I was browsing the internet on my w300i and it flashed black and white on the screen and now says Config. Error. I can recice calls but can not make them as the screen does not work right and wont let me dial out. The only think on the main screen is the Signal bar and Battery bar. Is there a way i can Flash this myself? Or what can I do short if buying a new phone? It is still under warranty but I do not have the sales receipt. You need to have the firmware reflash on the phone this cna be done online at topsony.com or take it to a mobile service center and have them reflash it for you.

Hi priyanka, internet connection is provided by ur mobile operator. Call ur customer and ask them to send u the config settings to ur mobile, and recharge ur phone with internet packs so that when browsing it won't affect ur main balance. After recieving the settings u can browse the internet using default browser in ur mobile.
hi your sony got the white screen of death syndrom, you will need to flash it either with wotanserver or a professional repair shop. YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR INFO, but at least the phone will work after.
The flex cable is damaged, it needs to be replaced. It is what connects the motherboard to the lcd screen in your phone. I had to replace one not to long ago and it had the same problem and now it works. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!!!!
