    I DOWNLOADED ALL OF THE SUGGESTIONS AND IT STILL SAYS CAMERA IS IN USE BY OTHER APPLICATION > WHEN I TRIED TO DOWNLOAD THE CAMERA DRIVERS OVER AGAIN IT SAYS MUST RUN THE 64 BIT VERSION

Please try downloading and installing the Microsoft Update KB931812 and VAIO Camera Capture Utility Update from Sony eSupport Site.

Download the Microsoft Update here

Download the VAIO Camera Capture Utility Update

If the issue persists, please try re-installing the Camera Driver and the Camera Application in the Computer.

Download the Camera Driver

Download the Camera Applications

This should fix the Camera issue.

    Not work in windows 7. This update driver is only for windows vista home premium.

    Hi rodolfofaust,

    Please let me know if the Camera is listed under the "Imaging Devices" category in the Device Manager window.

    To open the Device Manager, please press Windows Logo and the R Keys on the Keyboard, this will open the Run window, then, in the Run window, please type "devmgmt.msc" and press the enter key.

    After that, please click the " " sign next to the Imaging Devices to check if the "Sony Visual Communication Camera is listed there.

    Please reply back with the version/edition of the Windows 7 Operating System installed in the Computer.
