My laptop is year and half old and couple of days back suddenly my laptop's speakers stopped working . i tried all option in the laptop to fix it .its not working.please help.

I think it's a software problem. Unistall drivers. Restart. Reinstall drivers. Restart. Check settings.

A 1 year old router...that suddenly stops working. My suspicions would be brushes first then the switch.

There are 3 different types of this router Type 1, 2, and 3.

what a load of bull 3 new LT, hope you didnt pay $1000 each.
2009 is not new. not by a mile.

running VISTA.
they are relics sure new to you and means XERO THAT!
id bet all 3 have bad batteries.
so now remove the batteries and see it now work ok.
on all 3.

hp still support it. its out of warranty after year 2010 1 year old.

here is the fix.
buy one new battery
see it work on all 3 LT?

now you know that batteries 7 or 8 years old, really are a hopeless
place to be.
non one lasted that long.
or is totally weak

or is so bad it confuses the charger chip. as all do like that.

Need to know the model no of the Polk sound system to assist.

Usually the internal speakers work when the stereo jack for external speakers if removed from the socket, so just give it a try....................sodeep

After researching several blogs and forums on problems with previous versions of Zune
the general concensus was to allow the batteries to drain away and die completely,
and then try reconnecting.

This took about a day and a half, and when we connected the device to the PC
it must have "re-initialized" the controls as it booted up, all the features now worked.

Happy 18 year old, more importantly, Happy parent.

Just go to your computer manufacturer's website and see if there are any audio driver updates, because that is what it sounds like to me. If there aren't any driver updates for your audio, then reinstall the audio drivers that it shows. If your computer is just a couple months old, then it is or should still be under warranty. if the driver update/ reinstall doesn not fix the issue, then if you purchased the laptop from a store, take it back, along with your receipt, and ask for an exchange or for them to repair it. if you bought it online, contact the site or your manufacturer if you ordered it from them, and request their process of sending it back for a replacement or repair. I hope. this helps you out

it sounds like the speakers have burned out, so the only place I can think of is Comp U.S.A., or Circuit City they have some pretty good techs there, and if they cant do it, you might need a new laptop, but don't worry, the people at both of these places can transfer everything from your old laptop to the new one with no problems
