I am trying to program a phillips directv remote rc19041003 to my samsung reciever but can't find the set button on the controler

The problem i have is i need instructions in how to set my phillips direct tv remote model rc 19041003 to my hitachi tv set and need the correct code for hitachi tv's .

How do I program a Philips universal remote rc19041003/01 to my Philips magnavox tv

Direct Code Entry

Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.

there is the website, put in the name of the receiver as Samsung and make sure you are under "SATELLITE SET TOP BOX" and follow the instructions on programming. hope this helps!

Code for p1300ntv to work with directv remote

You can "manually" find your code by 1. pressing tv button on the remote 2. press and hold setup until TV button blinks twice 3. press 991, the tv button should blink once 4. slowly press and alternate the power and tv buttons until tv turns off. 5. press setup to lock in the code when tv turns off.

Cannot program remote control to receiver

You should have direct tv replace both units for you, They are providing the service and it is their responsibility to keep their customer up and working. A battery change should not affect the use of the product. There must be something wrong with the receiver if it cannot operate correctly after such a normal use from the user as a battery change. Cl034 magnavox remote versus samsung directv reciever

Go to http://www.urc.philips.com/. The Magnavox CL034 is under another name, US2-PM435, the Phillips version. Drop down menu to left of screen.Pick United States URC models. Then pick My remote is...US2-PM435. These codes really work and being the official samsung site they have many more than one recieves with the remote at time of purchase. Also note that the CL034 is the Magnavox remote (it does not have Phillips insignia)

Try this: On the Tivo remote press and hold the TV Power button and the Directv/TIVO button at the same time. Hold both buttons down for about 4 seconds or until remote light stays red. Then press the channel up button until the tv turns off. You may press the button over 100 times. You need to go slow. When the TV turns off press the enter button (or select button).

Programming the directv remote to program a sony audio receiver

Go through the process of setting up the remote again instead of trying the volume first use the power off button. In my experience, Sony receivers can be picky and power cycling "will" insure the code set, then try the volume.
