We have a Bosch SHX43C05UC/40 dishwasher. It did not come with a user manual and I cannot seem to find one online. The dishwasher is great in all aspects except I do not know how to disable the beeping alarm at the end of a cycle. It continues to beep for hours on end until the door is opened. Does anyone know how to disable the alarm? Thanks,

SOURCE: Bosch Logixx dishwasher alarm

I have found the operating manual online (see link to below off Bosch site) which explains how to do this - looks a bit fiddly by twisting dial and press/hold different buttons. Too complex to repeat in detail here so check out the website:

http://www.boschappliances.com.au/content.asp?document_id=430&category_id=86
from the above page (which I know is not the same model)
- follow the User Manual link
- enter the correct model number (mine is WAS32466)
- select the operating manual instructions (installation manual may also be given)
- see section on Individual Settings / Signal.

SOURCE: Bosch SHX Dishwasher keeps beeping when it is finished.

If you wish to eliminate or reduce the volume of the end of cycle beep you can do so by powering off the unit and turning back on while holding the right button “Cancel/Reset”. The beep has 3 volumes levels and silent, press the right “Cancel/Reset” button to cycle through the settings. Power the unit back off to save you setting.

SOURCE: How do you disable the cycle completion

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

I think can answer your question..."How do you disable the cycle completion signal/beep on the Bosch SHU9915UC dishwasher?"

Follow these steps...

**How to Operate the Cycle Completion Signal**

1. Open door, hold down program button (see
Beeper Table below) and simultaneously turn the unit "ON".

MODEL Program BUTTON

SHU 9950 Delay Start Hours
**SHU 9910-9920 Delicate/Econo** should be yours
SHU 8800/8810 Quick Wash

SHV 6800 Delay Start Hours
SHV 4800 Delicate/Econo
SHV 4300 Delicate/Econo

2. Release program button.
a. For SHV 6803 and SHU9950 models:
The display will blink with a code of "0", "1" or
"2". You are in program mode.

• If the display blinks with a "0", you will hear
no signal (indicates OFF).

• If the display blinks with a "1", you will hear a
LOW volume signal.

• If the display blinks with a "2", you will hear a
HIGHER volume signal.

b. For all other models with the beeper
function:

• If the machine beeps, then the Cycle
Completion Signal has been enabled.

• When you push the button again and it does
not beep, it means that the Cycle Completion
Signal has been disabled.

3. To change the program, press the program
button until the desired setting is selected.

4. Turn the Dishwasher off to take it out of
program mode.

* At the end of a wash cycle, the beeper will sound
off two times, and again every 15 minutes until the
dishwasher is turned off.

Hope this answers your question and provides you with what you needed.

Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck.

My shx43c05uc dishwasher appears to have two drains, one in the rear and one on the side. Cannot find manual. Is this normal?

Hose on right that comes from middle of tank is NOT a drain hose. It is a vent hose and the end of it just sticks down into the base. It is used to relieve air pressure build-up from hot water so unit does not leak.

Dishes and inside the washer are not drying

Make sure that the drain hose is connected as per manufacturer instructions, and that there isn't a direct run down from the sink u-bend to the machine. The rinse agent effects dishes dry but has nothing with the water remaining in the machine. Good luck!
