It seems you might have been scammed, your license is actually invalid, or illegally obtained. You may have to repurchase the software that you are trying to install.
hope youre not trying to install it using the old serial number on the sticker on your case? It should have come with a new serial number to install. You also have to have XP or Vista to perform an upgrade otherwise you need a full installation CD.
The best you can do here is call Adobe and get the issue resolved. If the serial key you are using is 100% legitimate they are the only ones who can resolve the issue. They will most likely just issue you a new key.
