Hitachi 43uwx10b ok. you say it's a restor. but witch one and where is it in the tv. on witch board is it on.? can you teel me.?

Power relay is defective. All contacts are not opening when power is removed. Located on small power supply board, upper rt side.
s 901 part# FJ00142 should be under $10, do a google search with part number and 50 sources will appear.

Ur tv have a convergence problems.It dead.The tv convergence board require 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors to change to solved the convergence problems.The shop will cost u $300-350 for parts and labors.

I would guess you missed a open resistor--there are only about 12 of them--how did you check them?

This set (43uwx10b) has a tiny blue micro switch on the front of the chassis---if you engage it from the front the set will go into the DECAM or convergence mode--let me know the CLU number on your original remote and I will scan and paste instructions---98% of the time if the set is wacked out and will not adjust one of the resistors is gone---ONE OF THE CHIPS GETS THEM.

You could have a bad HV Transformer causing it to shut down.

Replace Convergence ICs STKs will have Part # on them big black ics For parts 1-800-223-3205 www.electronix.com you have 2 of them replace Both!
