I have been playing my ps3 for about 9-10 hours and my gta4 is now not playing corectly on the ps3 either are any the other games the dics seem fine no scratches or dirt does the ps3 mibi need a break if yes how long?

I had the same problem with GTA4. I had to get an update for the game. Check the website for updates for that game. I also had to change a setting with the way it connects to the network.
Bring the game back to where ever you may have made the purchase, there reason could be a possible faulty disk, the main thing to ask yourself is....Are you able to play another game? if so, does this issue occur? hay if you fell it getting hot fast it's the heat transfer compound in the system which is wearing away causing it to over heat and shut down as a safety precaution. so there for it will keep freezing of shouting down.
