Yes. Formatting the card is the best way to clear the card for further use, AFTER you transfer all the pictures to your computer.

You don't need any software to use your camera.

u can never if u deleted directly... if deleted from PC try any restore tools

Unisntall the software that came with the camera and reinstall them. If the computer asks for drivers, insert the cd that came along the camera and install the drivers. Alternately, you can use your laptop's card reader port to transfer pictures. Just take out the memory card from the cam and put it in the card reader slot. Have any questions, write back.

Make sure the camera is on and the batteries are fresh before you connect to your computer.
Not all usb plugs are the same. You may need a specific one for your camera.
Also you may try taking the sd card to a photo shop like Walmart. They may print the picture for you.

memory card reader is the easiest way

try taking card out... and power camera on.. should be ok... you can try to clean the card and see if it works

You need to install olympus master 2 driver to your dell laptop then connect your camera using USB to your laptop...I suppose you have these driver and usb connector with your camera package.

You may use CARD READER if you have, place your memory card into it then connect to your laptop using USB...
