Pairing motorola h17 with Ps3. Go to settings then to manage bluetooth scan find bluetooth (enter passcode 0000) hit triangle connect.(only first part keep reading) Now go to audio devices section under settings and change imputs to the motorola h17. If you don't go to audio devices the bluetooth wont stay connected. It will connect for like a second and stop. This drove me crazy for a day until I discover the fix. now go back to manage bluetooth and connect bluetooth and it should stay connected > you will see blue circle.

How do you connect a motorola H17 to a ps3 slim

Turn on your PS3 and go to settings. Accessories, add blue tooth device, Turn your bluetooth to discovery mode. go back to PS3 to scan mode. Select the H17 that shows up and enter the bluetooth pairing code 0000 that is right four zeros in a row and hit enter on your PS3. They should now synch, the main thing people forget to do is actually select that item inside your PS3 to synch. Hope this helps. Happy Gaming

Pairing the Headset with a Sony Playstation3 Entertainment System:

To pair your [EM-227] Bluetooth Headset with the Sony Playstation3 (PS3), go to the PS3 main menu, scroll to "Settings" and select.

Scroll to "Accessory Settings" and select.

Scroll to "Manage Bluetooth Devices" and select.

The menu will ask: "The Bluetooth device has not been registered. Do you want to register it?"

Select YES.

Put your [EM-227] Bluetooth Headset into discover mode (see X.XX of this manual for instructions on how to get the headset into discover mode).

Select "Start Scanning" from the PS3 menu.

Once the PS3 has discovered the [EM-227] Headset the screen will read "Select the Bluetooth device to register".

Select [EM-227].

The PS3 will ask for a passkey. Enter [0000] then press "OK".

Now press O (the PS3 circle button) to get back to the previous menu.

Scroll to "Audio Device Settings".

Change the "Input Device" to [EM-227].

Note: "Input Device" is the microphone, how others will hear you speak.

By default, the "Output Device" will now switch to [EM-227].

Note: "Output Device" is the audio, how you will hear the PS3 audio and others speaking.

If you would like to hear the PS3 audio and others speaking through your TV or Audio System, scroll to "Output Device" and switch to "System Default Device". If you would like to hear sound through the [EM-227] headset, then leave the "Output Device" setting on [EM-227].

To test your connection, speak into the headset and you will see the bars above the "Microphone Level" moving. If not, repeat the pairing process.

Press "OK" to confirm the new settings. You are now ready to use the [EM-227] Bluetooth Headset with your PS3 Entertainment System.

For further assistance with Bluetooth settings on your PS3 please refer to your PS3 instruction manual.

Using Motorola Blue Tooth with PS3

Yes you can. Just go to accessories or audio device settings. Have your headset on and hit connect bluetooth device. The key it asks for should be 0000. If that doesn't work do a quick search online and you should be able to find one that works.

Connecting bluetooth headset to ps3

You have to do 2 things in order to use a bluetooth headset on your ps3. First you have to pair it with the ps3. To do this you go to your setting and register the bluetooth device. Make sure your bluetooth device is in pairing mode when you do this. On most headsets you can simply hold down the button until the light comes on a solid color. once it is in pairing mode you will have to scan for new devices. Once this is done you should see the headset on the list. Choose it and enter your pairing code. If you have not set one it will most likely be 0000. Once it is it paired you will have to change your audio output and input. Go to audio device settings and change the input and output device to your headset name. Enjoy!
