I have not used my PrimeFilm 1800i for quite a while and find that I probably need a driver on this computer. I used to use it but I am not sure which of my computers it ran on. What can I do to make this work?

PC drivers are available for XP/Vista/7 only.

Mac drivers are for PowerPC Mac - No Support after 10.6.8:

PrimeFilm 1800u will not work on Windows 8.

Hello, This scanner will not be supported on windows 8, all of our USB 1.0 technology scanner will no longer be supported beyond Windows 7.

The drivers it needs are in Windows\system32\drivers and include usbscan.sys and 2 others. I discovered that I had to run the device troubleshooter until it came across the single image scanner, I let it install drivers and then it worked with the primefilm software. That took hours, but the solution was to let Windows 7 64 bit do a troubleshoot on the hardware.

Vista is a pain. Chances are there is no upgrade to vista.

Try Google, enter your scannner details, then follow through to company see if there is an update.

On the page make the choice drivers on the top of the page, then USB ondersteuning Windows 95, then PrimeFilm/, then PrimeFilm 1800I/, here you find a manual, then choice Windows/, then 98se_me_2k_xp_vista/ and here you have de drivers and the update.

On de next site I have found Firmware Update only I have no experience with it
