My wireless connection was working fine up until a few days ago. Now, I can connect directly to my ethernet, but not through the wireless. It shows perfect signal strength, but no connection to the internet. It also says that IPv4 has no connection. Please help.

If you connect the computer to the router , it works.
That means the wired connection is OK.
Open the set up page of the router check the wireless settings of the router.
I think your network is secured and you are not typing the correct network key.
just open the router set up and check the wireless settings .
Make sure that the DHCP server on the router is enabled

Are you connecting to your own wireless router? If yes, have you changed anything in its configuration, or inadvertently reset it? If you're connecting to someone else's router (neighbor, etc.) it could be that they have locked you out. Does the wireless network show as secured? This sounds more like a security issue than hardware or driver.

Wired connection randomly drops

Since the wireless works fine on your router, then it is possible that there is a problem either on your ethernet cable or on the port of the belkin router.
Try a different ethernet cable. (Ethernet cable is the one that is connected from your computer to the router.) If you don't have a spare cable, you can directly connect the computer to the modem, just to isolate the issue and determine if it is the cable or the computer itself.
If you have determined that the cable is working fine, then try a different port on the router.
I hope this helps!

No internet connection through routers (broadband AND wireless)

Try to disable any firewalls on your computer. If you already have internet details showing, there's something blocking your connection which is possibly a firewall. Turn off the Windows firewall as well as Norton, Mcafe, Zone Alarm and the like if you have one.

mairelina, if all was well 2 days ago then resetting the router should fix your problem. usually a small button on the back of the router.

chelliepooh, you need to check that the router's wireless function is on. connect using the ethernet and go to the config page (usually 192.168.1.1) make sure wireless is on and security is set to wpa-psk.
