Battery not recharging

Hi..

Having trouble with my battery. The computer will not recharge it.

When plugged into power the battery recharging icon 'moves up and down' 2 or 3 times as if charging, then stops. If I hold the cursor over the icon it says (Plugged in: Not charging)

When using the computer on battery power the battery icon indicates that it is full...but will only power the computer for 7 minutes.

Has been working and recharging just fine until recently.

All batteries die sooner or later. I believe you have a dead cell.

1) Find another machine that uses the same battery and try it or
2) try another battery or
3) Give up and buy a new battery.

Good luck.

Hi

Can you please try to leave laptop switched off
plug in laptop and leave until the light on front goes green or at least 2/3 hrs

then unplug power cord
switch on laptop and use it or leave it until it looses all power and switches off

then recharge until green

when battery is fully charged always un plug and use on battery power
until it reaches about 10% before recharging

some people even remove their battery to preserve it if they always use power cord

if this does not sort the problem please come back to us

many thanks

Hi, Here is the relevant text as found in the instructions:"Plug the mini USB end of the supplied USB charge cable to the charge socket on the Sonic Screwdriver Remote Controller (SSRC) and other end [ their error, not mine -KP ] of the charge cable to the Wii console. A red LED charge indicator is on when charging. When the battery is fully charged, the red LED automatically turns off. Charge time is between 2 to 3 hours and a fully charged battery has between 6 to 12 hours of playtime.""The Wii Console must be ON for the SSRC to be able to recharge its battery. Is your AC adapter working correctly?

If it is, then removing the battery should allow the computer to use the AC line to power the computer.

If it is not, then your battery is drained, and needs to be recharged.

Low battery icon on Midland LXT350 walkie-talkies

Your LXT350 is equipped for using an optional rechargeable NiMH battery pack which can be recharged by inserting the AC adapter into the radio charge jack, or with the optional desktop charger.

I would make sure the radio is off, then insert the charger. Charge only for the prescribed time (no more/no less) and remove from the charger.

Charge time is initially 24 hours. Charge time is about 12 hours thereafter. For maximum battery life, it is recommend charging the battery pack when the low battery icon comes on. Remove the radios from the charger when the charge time expires.
