If the operating system is vista or Win7 then go to sound then under that u will see speakers then click on speakers and then click on Set as Default. This should fix it .

I cant get my disk out of my xps m1330 laptop what do I do?

Have you tried using the Eject button on the controls above the Function keys on your Dell XPS M1330 laptop to eject the disk from the optical drive?

If the above does not solve the problem then you may need to refer to the Service Manual for your XPS M1330 which has information on how to remove and replace the Optical drive if this has failed.

The sreen of my DELL XPS M1330 suddenly does not lght up!

It can be either the display is dead or it is a loose connection. If you are still covered by warranty then I would suggest you to contact the dell technical support. They will replace the part for you.
However if you don't have a warranty then you can buy this part from dell online store (the display) and you can fix it on your own - http://ahwee.com/how-to-disassemble-laptop-dell-xps-m1330 follow the instructions here to dismantle your laptop and refix it with the new parts. If you find any troubles doing so; please let me know; I will help you further.

My Dell XPS M1330's internal speakers are not working, the audio utility claims that it is producing sound. I am running windows vista, and the sigma tel audio codec is my sound driver.

#1 Flash the BIOS to the most current version. #2 Run diagnostics from the F12 menu (Or Power plus FN key) see if the speakers work in the diagnostic. If they work in diags, there is no hardware issue, only a software issue. If you get no sound in diags, try a pair of headphones, if you still get no sound, then it is a hardware problem. If you only get sound in the headphones, then the microswitch that disables the speakers is stuck. #3 is sound works in diags then you have a problem with the audio driver or speaker configuration (Audio muted etc)

How to change speakers on xps m1330 laptop

The internal speakers I presume. Essentially you have to completely disassemble the system. Remove the battery, all drives, central control cover, LCD, Keyboard, Palmrest, Card cage and motherboard to get to the speakers in the bottom back of the chassis.
