Panasonic TH-50PZ77U 1 1/4" inch vertical line

My Panasonic TH-50PZ77U has a 1 1/4" inch black vertical line on the right side of the screen that travels from the top to about half way down the screen. I have the same identical plasma with a cracked screen that I can use the parts from. Any suggestions before I start swapping out boards?

    i am in costa rica. I have a flat panel lcd panasonic 32 inch. I want to reduce the size of the zoom 1 to where there is no overshoot up or down on vertical.

This problem is usually the ribbon cable connection at the top of the stripe. Reseat the cable first. The other possibility is the panel itself, but that is rare.

How to fix vertical black line on panasonic viera th-42pz80
If you let me know in which location of the screen is located I can assist with the possible cause since the vertical line can be caused by different items based on where its located on the Screen such as center of screen, or far right side or midle of the right half side of the screen. Reply to this same post with where the line is located and I will assist you with it.

IF YOU HAVE A SOLID BLACK LINE RUNNING VERTICALLY THEN YOU HAVE A FAULTY MATRIX INVERTER. IF CENTRAL THE MAIN VERTICAL INVERTER NEEDS CHANGED. LEFT = LEFT VERTICAL INVERTER RIGHT=RIGHT.........

Panasonic TH42PX60B has two vertical lines on left side of screen about 1 inch wide. One line is solid black while the other is white snowy.
You have an "Up Scaling" problem and a new screen will sort that out.

Panasonic plasma.only 18 months old and the screen seems to be filling in from the left inwards.totaly black and about 1 third of screen is gone completely now and getting worse.started about 2 weeks ago...
