Question about Equator 20 in. PLS602 Free-Standing Dishwasher

Open Question

Where do I fill the rinse aid? There is a little "cap" that

Screws off inside the dishwasher (on the back wall) and it seems that that's the place but I filled it a month ago and none of the solution is gone. This is my first dishwasher ever so I'm kinda not to smart in this area. It washes well but sometimes there's a little film so I thought I'd try the rinse aid in liquod form. How does that thing work? Is that the place where I should fill the rinse aid or is that for something else? And if that's the place then how does that work? Does it activate a pump and take the rinse aid? How soon should the solution be gone? I had it for a month and not a drop was used by the machine. Thanks very much!

SOURCE: Equator PLS600 spray arm will not move.

Problem solved. Removed spray arm assy including nut (attached to body). Manually moved propeller inside water inlet. This freed it up enough to get her working again. Apparent cause was enough debris in chamber to cause it to seize. Note that this fix was preceded by the famous WikiFix of filling chamber with baking soda then topping it off with white vinegar, left overnight. Also note that the above manual movement of the propeller was done with the machine on (not recommended) at the point in the cycle where the spray arm should have been operating.

SOURCE: I have an equator PLS600

Give the spray arm a spin to make sure it rotates. It should spin freely. If not, remove plastic spray arm clip, flip it over, replace it, and try again. Make sure holes in the spray arm are clear of debris. Spray arm must be clean for it to spin. If spray arm does spin freely, remove spray arm clip, spray arm and the post assy (the thing the spray arm attaches to). Try your WikiFix again. This time add baking soda to the hole the post assy came from. Top it off with white vinegar. Leave it overnight. In the morning, stick your finger down the hole where the spray arm assy sat. You should feel a plastic thing. This is a propeller attached to the recirculation pump. You need to free it up. Get that thing moving with your pinky or a chopstick or whatever. Try the machine without the spray arm. You should get water blasting up from the hole. Reassemble the spray arm.

Rinse aid runs out all at once

I appreciate your post, friend!
Based off what you have described the all the rinse aid runs out inside of your Frigidaire dishwasher. It seems like the cap might be bad on your rinse aid dispenser or the dispenser as a whole could be faulty. I would recommend checking your rinse aid dispenser for any visible damage. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

HOW TO CHANGE FROM LOW RINSE TO HIGH RINSE

Fill up the rinse-aid resevoir. Or (depending on exactly what you are asking), turn the little indicator just inside the rinse-aid fill port to a higher number.

Where to put rinse aid in cdw10 dishwasher

Rinse aid makes dishes sparkle more as it improves their drying. The rinse aid container is situated on the inside of the door. You should fill the rinse aid container when indicator lights up on the container and the rinse aid indicator light on the control panel flashes. You can use simple vinegar as a rinse aid (white is best but apple or malt is fine).

Adding rinse aid.
To open the dispenser, turn cap anticlockwise. Take care when you pour in the rinse aid to avoid it overflowing. You can regulate the amount of rinse aid used by the dishwasher, move the adjuster which you will find under lid. The amount of rinse aid needs to be increased if the dishes appear dull or you can see circular stains. The amount of rinse aid needs to be reduced if the dishes are sticky or see white streaks.

You can choose from six different positions. It is normally set to 4.

Inside the machine in base there is a large screw cap.
Undo that put DISHWASHER salt in not cooking salt.
Make sure the salt well is full of water in it before you put in the salt. Fill salt to top.

Where do I put salt into a G665 model

Salt and rinse aid are low if the indicator light is on.

Salt is placed in a compartment in the bottom of the inside of the dishwasher. It has a round approx 10cm diameter screw cap.

Rinse aid goes in under a flap in the inside of the door near the powder dispenser

The rinse aid despencer is leaking

You might look into getting a new cap. It seems like part of the problem is that the threads on the cap or dispenser are damaged. This will cause the seal to not work correctly and thus leak the rinse aid.
