My dryer turns on correctly. When the unit has been on for about 10 minutes it gets louder and eventually turns off. I have to cool the dryer down before it will turn on again. The more I have in the dryer, the louder the dryer becomes. Could it be the motor?

Condenser dryer pump not working when dryer is hot

It sounds like your Miele T 494C Condenser Dryer may be experiencing an issue with the pump not functioning properly during hot cycles. It is likely that the pump is overheating and causing it to malfunction.
One possible cause of this issue could be a clogged pump filter. Over time, lint and other debris can build up in the pump filter, reducing its efficiency and causing it to overheat. Cleaning or replacing the pump filter may resolve this issue.
Another possible cause could be a malfunctioning thermostat that is not controlling the temperature correctly and causing the pump to overheat.
If the pump is overheating, it could be caused by a malfunctioning thermostat, which would need to be replaced by a professional technician.
It's also possible that the pump may be damaged or worn and needs to be replaced.
It's recommended to consult the manufacturer's manual or contact the manufacturer's customer service for further assistance. They may be able to provide more specific troubleshooting steps or recommend a professional technician to repair the dryer. Keep in mind that attempting to repair a dryer can be dangerous if you're not familiar with the proper procedures and safety precautions.

Whirlpool ultimate care ii dryer timer

Sounds like the knob is not on correctly, or is not the correct knob, or the plate with the numbers on it has moved. When it turns off naturally, does that line up with 'off'?

Dryer cuts off after 10 minutes

Agree with you. Make sure the lint collector is clean and ditto for the vent. If it goes up to roof have to check it there also to make sure there are no obstructions whatsoever in vent line. Unit is turning off because it is overheating. If lint collector and vent is squeaky clean and unit blows out like crazy then the temp switch is opening up prematurely and might need replacement or jumping - your call. My dryer will turn off after a about 10 minutes and then need about 2 minutes to cool down before it will start again. When I push the start button before the 2 min are over the machine will not start. Any...

Sounds like the high limit switch. It is a small round disk shaped part at the top of the heater coil box. If the temperature gets too high then it trips this, after it cools off it resets itself. So either the limit switch is going bad and tripping early and coming back on late. Or the dryer is overheating, maybe the vent stopped up with lint?

Kenmore Electric dryer runs on cool down forever.

Call the mfr and ask them about it. This problem may be pretty complicated. There may be a problem with your board that tells it to go to cool down. Can you set the timer for 45-60 minutes and it stay on heat for that long?
