SOURCE: Need four prong wiring diaagram for the power cord

Due to a change in the National Electrical code in 2005 all dryer recepticals are required to have a 4 wire receptacle. This is to insure an isolated ground. You will need the following tools,

  • 1 – phillips screwdriver
  • 1 – standard screwdriver
  • 1 – 3/8′ nutdriver
  • 1 – 5/16′ nutdriver
  • 1 – 1/4′ nutdriver
First disconnect any power cords from thier outlets. Then on the back of the dryer,/uploads/images/ae228a3.jpg You will need to remove this access panel. Once removed you will see a connection block that looks like,

You will now need to loosen the connections using the nut drivers, once the connections are removed the loosen the screws on the strain relief. ( the clamp holding the wires)
Once this is loose you can remove the old cord and install a new 4 wire cord. When making the new connections you will need to neutral or white wire in the center of the block, and the green wire is connected to where the bonding strap use to be or connect it to the frame of the dryer using the access panel screw holes.
The black and red wires are your hot or L1 and L2 connections. It should look like this when finished.

Then reattach you access panel door and plug your dryer in and you ready for laundry.
Thanks, Dorrian

How do I remove the list of blocked calls on Panasonic KX-TGA470

Note: the handset is model KX-TGA470. The phone base system model may be KX-TG7731 or another KXTG7741. Other model numbers also use this handset.

You have to remove the entries in this list individually. Press Menu followed by the following # 2 1 7 . Select a number in the Blocked call list (with the up/down arrows) and select Erase. Use the up/down arrows to highlight Yes and then press Select. Alternatively, you can use navigate the menu system and look for Initial Setting and then Call Block. Press Select to enter the sub-menus. See page 41 of the manual for the section on Editing the Call Block list. See page 37 to see the menu tree for the Initial Settings sub-menu. The manual is available here: https://panasonic.encompass.com/shop/model_research_docs/?file=/MSC/om/KXTG263SK.pdf .

I hope this helps.

How do u hook up the infinity entra sub it has speaker level(input and output) that look like these red and black spots r for spearker wires and then line level input so I connect my music to the rca plugs...

Maybe if you described the setup with exact model numbers for everything involved we might be able to answer with specifics.

You could poke around her for the Entra Manual for YOUR model.

http://manuals.harman.com/INF/Hom/Owner's%20Manual/

What they do NOT explicitly tell you is that the amp in the sub is not for your other speakers running off it's Speaker Level outputs. They're just there as a pass-through if you use Speaker Level from your own amp.

Line Level (RCA) IN to the sub will NOT pass anything out those Speaker level outputs.

Where can I find the model number for my Carrier Thermostate? I see CEBD430827-02-RA on the circute board, could that be the model number

Hi, the front cover should pull right off. Look behind the cover. If its not there, turn the power off to the system and remove the next section so the stat with a very small screw driver. Do this carefully. Now you will be looking at the wiring and sub-base Look on the back of the 2nd section for any numbers and write them down, and on the sub-base for numbers you can write down. They normally will not say model numbers, some do and some don't. Just the month and year it was made. The number you have does not sound like a model number, but write it down along with all numbers you find. Parts houses that sell carrier stats will know. Carrier is a top of the line thermostat.
Good Luck,
Shastalaker7
PS, the model number is on the box when you buy one. That number you have CEB is a circuit board number as most all boards start with those first 3 digits

Receiver cannot recognize subwoofer

As I implied earlier, take a clue from the physical style of connectors for both parts of the subwoofer function in the old and new receivers:

RCA connections are for Line Level signal between components only.

The input (bare wire) at the speaker is for AMPLIFIED signal.

You can't just modify one to fit the other and expect magic to happen. Be glad you didn't do it the other way around and modify an amplified (speaker level) outout into a Line Level input. You likely would have smoked that component.

Your subwoofer is a passive speaker, that is, like any other speaker it needs an amplifier. Many subs are self-powered (amp built-in) and they would mate well with the RCA sub output of the receiver.

Get yourself an Active (self-amplified) Subwoofer and run UN-MODIFIED RCA cables to it, according to its instructions, from the Sub Out of the receiver. Or get an amplifier between your receiver and the sub you have.

Problem with mitsubishi slim

I am not familiar with a P8 code nor do I understand where you are seeing this But, go to mrslim.com and look under Customer resources, Library and then input your model number. Select Technical & Services. Product Catagory is Mr. Slim Ductless, Sub Catagory is M-series Multi Split, Current models. Remember you have inside units and one outside unit. You will need to look at each model number to find information on both. Usually Mitsubishi's will have two lights that will blink in patterns to indicate what could be wrong. The P8 code is new for this Diamond Dealer!

Salvage Job

This should not be a problem. Cut off the plug off the wire oppisite the sub connection. Turn on the sub and touch each wire till you hear a buzz, that should be your source wire. Connect up an RCA plug with the ground of course, and you should be set. Good Luck
