The reason you couldn't find a manual on line, is that your model "has been retired" (i.e.Discontinued). They no longer make a 6000 btu unit. In any event, they still support the unit. You can get a copy of the Owners Manual form Haier Customer Support 1-877-337-363. They can probably email it to you as an attachment.
Unfortunately. Haier does not have an online manual for your model AC. However, if you contact their Customer Support Dept 1-877-337-363, they can tell you what the code means and supply you with an Owner's Manual for future reference.
Stephanie, the Control Panel Operation is the same as the remote control. But, if the Control Panel is not allowing you to change the settings, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit for 15 - 20 minutes. Then plug the unit back in, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON and set the controls as you would like. Hopefully, the unit's electronics reset themselves during the 15 - 20 minute timeout and you will be able to operate the unit using the control panel.
