Did you lose just the files that you saved on the hard drive? Or did you lose all of the programs and files? Either way you needed to make your own recovery disk before you lost the information. It is too late to get a recovery disk made after you lost everything. You will have to purchase the programs (software such as windows 7) again. If you just lost just what you saved in the files (pictures, resume, etc.), then it is gone forever.
does the phone have either bluetooth, infrared or a memory card? if it has bluetooth or infrared you can print these at a photo booth at kmart and such or send to a computer with a bluetooth receiver ( a friend may be able to help there) or if it has a memory card, get a $5 card reader and transfer them all to your computer.
At the worst create a mms with up to 10 slides and email it to yourself (Some phones require you to save the email address as a contact WITHOUT a phone number ONLY the name and email address BEFORE you create the message, then when ready to send, select contacts, your email and send.)
If your phone has email capabilities, use the web service to email to yourself.
Or mms to a friend or family member that has bluetooth and can put onto a disk for you.
Go to Dell Support and download (as in Save, not Run) all the drivers then burn them to a disk. Next borrow an XP disk from a friend and reinstall with it and your key. Once the XP install is done run the driver disk. Finally install the Antivirus.
After that you can update windows and install whatever else you want.
Each time you execute finalization, the disc remaining space will decrease by approximately 13 MB. If you don’t have enough room, it won’t allow you to finalize the disc.
To finalize this disc, you have to delete some pictures to make enough space. But don’t worry, before you delete those pictures, you can save them to your computer.
Find out the CDs came with your camera, refer your manual page 51 - 61 to install ‘PIXELA PTP Manager’ , connect your camera and computer with USB cable, and copy some pictures to your computer, then delete the pictures on camera side. If still not enough room, copy more and delete more. make it enough to do the finalization.
You really only have one drive. The d drive is a partition of your c drive. It is used for backing up your operating system and system restore. If you need more space, delete your programs that you dont use often or burn them on a disk. Do this with pictures also. After you delete everything you dont use run your defrag. Just be careful you do not delete any windows files
Software CD's can be difficult to understand sometimes. Good news is if you dont understand how to use the included programs, you do have a microSD card that your device has. If you have a memory card, you can store your music (no ringtones) and pictures/video onto your card and transfer them to your laptop which should have an SD card slot. Just make sure that on your memory card you insert into into the microSD card adapter which came with the phone and be sure to label folders on the card. The folders should be AUDIO (for full music), IMAGE (for pictures), and VIDEO (for video files). Then you drag and drop the file to the specific folder.
1.One thing you can do is press and hold on F8 after power on then select Safe Mode. This way, you would be able to go the desktop. You can do a system restore instead of system recovery (like reformat and reload OS and original programs). To do system restore, you can go to start-all programs-accessories-system tools-system tools-system restore. Select a date when your laptop was working properly. This will restore the software changes beyond that date but will not affect your personal data like your pictures. Be sure not to interrupt the process so please plug in the ac adapter and wait for laptop to restart itself and give the message that the system restore was completed successfully.
2.If the system restore did not work, you can save your files to a disk when using Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking then you can do the system recovery using the recovery disk that came with your laptop or that you made (if you have the hidden partition which is present if you have the Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator program, note that this is different from Toshiba Disk Creator.) Hope this helps. Thank you.
dont need software, on phone go to MENU / SETTINGS / PHONE SETTINGS / USB SETTINGS (item 8) and select MASS STORAGE then save and exit, plug your phone into the computer and bingo - your memory card will pop up as a removable disk drive in windows.
After formatting my PC to upgrade it I've been unable to install the USB driver software to save pictures from my Tentax OPtio S4i to my PC.
My computer isn't recognising my camera when I plug it into the USB port.
When I've tried to install the Driver using the disk I got with my camera, at the stage where it asks me to MODIFY REPAIR or REMOVE, the software I get the following showing up on display boxes:
