N3252w,no power at all,checked power supply board,found out swollen,leaky,almost blown capacitors,tried replacingang tried plugging it in,still no power,no output voltage,no schematic diagram to trace where it's comming from,what seems to be the other problem.

Modern Power supplies also monitor their load & other conditions and shut power off if a problem is detected.

Electrolytic Capacitors are the biggest problem.

Check for the obvious - tv plugged in? power at receptacle? Fuse blown on power supply? Swollen, leaky caps or burnt resistors, open diodes on power supply?

Otherwise, you have a problem on one of your boards. Enter the exact symptoms on Google and you will get all sorts of blogs indicating where the source of the problem might be. Ditto for Utube.

I would first check the power supply. Check the main fuse, if is blown and there was no power surge from an external source, the supply board has some serious problem. If the fuse is fine measure the output voltage of the power supply board. Check for any swollen electrolytic capacitors, they are the number one cause of every LCD failure I have come across. I just fixed a Polaroid FLM1514 which has a 2956C Ver 2.0 power board driven by a Fairchild CM0765. Turns out the VCC capacitor was bad and not even swollen, sowpped it for a 47uF 50V and presto.

The problem is the power supply you have a weak power supply.Try to check the power supply if their is a swollen capacitor or leaky capacitor, you will notice that their is a oil mark that spread in the pcb then replace the capacitor with the same value and observed the polarity of the capacitor.

Sounds like a power supply issue to me. Did you check the 1.5A fuse and see if its still intact? Check it with a multimeter and measure the resistance. If it reads a very high value then its probably blown. The fuse is located on the power board(the board where your power cord plugs into the tv). Also look for any visible damage like a swollen/cracked or leaky capacitors. The top of the capacitors should be flat, if its swollen or cracked, you will know its bad.

If power supply is good and voltage measures out ok. Also check any relays or capacitors.If LCD, check caps, if projection, check bulb and high-voltage transformer and flyback with a voltmeter.
Capacitors are the most common reason for failure in today's electronics.

I opened the power supply unit, and found two blown capacitors (swollen, and oozing black stuff) It is easy to fix, if you keep track of where the screws go, because there are so many.
1) open tv, and tape screws where they go
2) open power supply unit, and check if any capacitors are swollen, and oozing black junk, even if its just a litte
3) if you find blown capacitors, look on the back of the board, and find out what hole, or socket the leads go into, they all have a number.
4) with a DEsoldering gun, remove the solder from back of board, its easy, trust me. I'm no tv repair man, but even I could do it.
5) write down how many microfarads the capcitor(s) are, and the corresponding hole number.
6) find replacement capacitors online, and solder back into psu
7) re assemble tv, and enjoy.

Thanks for using FixYa. This might have happened due to over-voltage. Please check the power supply unit for swollen capacitors and burnt wires/components on the power supply board of your TV. You should try and turn off the TV for 8-10 hours to reset it. This issue might have occurred due to blown pico fuses located on the D-Board or due to blown fuse on the power supply board.

If the power supply is not wqrking then it is the invertor unit that has dies.
Replace the monitor is the best advice- If it that recent out of warranty may be worth contacting 'viewsonic to see if they will discount you one.

If the problem is with the power supply, that is an easy fix; even without the schematic diagram.
Is normally some leaky capacitors that failed on the majority of power supplies on these TVs.
